Respect Life

Respect Life Group

The parish pro-life committee assists in a special way by helping to make the parish a center of life, a place where parishioners understand the issues and the importance of meeting the needs of those who are most vulnerable—especially mothers and their unborn children, and those who are seriously ill or dying and their families.  We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month, 6:30 - 8pm.  All are welcome.

PREPARES - Pregnancy and Parenting Support

An initiative of the Washington State bishops, PREPARES is a nurturing response of the Catholic community to provide families the supportive services needed to help ensure healthy childhood development from pregnancy to age five.

"We want to make sure that no child - born or unborn - is ever abandoned or alone. We want to make sure that every mother whether she is in a small rural town or a large city...has caring people around her walking those critical first five years of her child's life."  ~ Bishop Joseph Tyson, 2014 Cornerstone Conference

If you are interested in being a volunteer companion for a mother in the PREPARES program, please contact Dawn Bingaman to find out more information, or go to the PREPARES website at http://www.PreparesForLife.org to find out more.
