Lord, how do you want me to serve you?

Jesus Christ continues to call each of us to holiness, and to evangelize the world by our very way of life.
A vocation is not a career path or a personal preference, but the sacred call God makes to each of us to join in His work of redeeming the world. Through God’s call and our generous response, each of us is called: set apart to follow Christ in a life of holiness — in marriage, priesthood, religious life, or consecrated single life.

If you or someone you know feels called to religious life, the priesthood, or permanent diaconate, we encourage you to reach out to Father Olson!

A Prayer for Vocations

O God, who guide your children in love along the plan of your grace,
look upon your people with kindness,
and stir within your Church a spirit of generosity, fidelity, and charity,
that men and women may seek you in all things and labor joyfully in your harvest.

Raise up priests and deacons to serve your people with courage and mercy;
sanctify men and women, they may come together in holiness by the union of marriage
and so witness to the mystery of Christ and his Church;
kindle in the hearts of people a longing to consecrate their life to you,
that your glory might shine forth in their service of others.

As you call them, Heavenly Father, sustain your servants with your grace,
so that, following the way of the Gospel and proclaiming the message of Christ,
and come to delight in the eternal joy you promise to those who serve you.

Through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
